Development of R&D infrastructure in UAB CHEMCENTRAS to expand research on new products to be launched on the market” (VP2-1.3-ŪM-03-K-03-011)
Within the framework of the Priority 1 of the Operational Programme for Economic Growth 2007-2013 “Increase the activity of research and technological development in the private sector”, our company implemented the project “Study of the suitability of Hungarian maize seeds for the climatic conditions in Lithuania”.
UAB “Chemcentras“ has implemented a project supported by the European Union to acquire infrastructure for the development of innovative products.
UAB “Chemcentras“ is implementing a project financed by the European Regional Development Fund “Development of R&D infrastructure in UAB CHEMCENTRAS to expand research on newly launched products” (VP2-1.3-ŪM-03-K-03-011).
The project is financed under the measure “Intellect LT+” of the priority “Research and Technological Development for Economic Competitiveness and Growth” of the Operational Programme for Economic Growth, under the objective “Increase the R&D activity in the private sector”.
The duration of the project is 5 months, running from 1th of August 2012 to 31th of December 2012. Total project budget 169.701,00 Lt. Of which EUR 51,000. The project is financed by UAB UAB “Chemcentras”, and 118,000 LTL from the European Regional Development Fund.
The project will create a laboratory base for the development and prototyping of new products. The laboratory will enable the development of innovative agrochemical additives and long-term research to introduce new products to the market, as well as to maintain the competitiveness of existing products. In the long term, the R&D infrastructure will enable the company to further increase its innovation spending and to develop and commercialize high value-added products, improve its performance and expand its R&D staff, thereby contributing to the growth of the economic sector in Lithuania.
