UAB “Chemcentras” was implementing the project “R&D innovations in launching new products on the market” financed by the European Regional Development Fund (VP2-1.3-ŪM-02-K-04-029).
The project is financed under the measure “Intelektas LT” of the priority “Research and Technological Development for Economic Competitiveness and Growth” of the Operational Programme for Economic Growth, under the objective “Increase the activity of R&D in private sector”.
The duration of the project is 22 months, running from 1 December 2013 to 25 September 2015.
The project has increased the company’s expenditure on R&D activities, recruited 2 additional long-term researchers and support staff, and contributed to the growth of Lithuanian exports by offering Lithuanian innovative chemical products to foreign markets.
The project has contributed to the company’s competitiveness by providing Chemcentras with the competences to develop new products and by improving the efficiency of its educational activities by informing farmers about the need to improve the efficiency of pesticides and to protect the environment.
